Kyle Palleschi had three hits, drove in three runs and earned the victory as No. 5 Monmouth Academy beat fourth-seeded Waynflete/NYA, 11-2, in a Class C South quarterfinal.

The Mustangs (14-4) scored single runs in the first and second innings, then broke it open with three runs in the third and five in the fourth.

Monmouth finished with 15 hits, as Sam Calder, Hayden Fletcher, Owen Harding and Isaac Oliveira all produced two.

Waynflete/NYA (13-5) got two hits and an RBI from Dylan Kullman. Payton Smith took the loss.
