CAMDEN HILLS AT EDWARD LITTLE

The Red Eddies (2-8-1) struck first, but the Windjammers (6-3-1) seized the lead and zoomed to a Class A North win in Auburn.
Gabby Gerry opened the scoring with the first of her two first-half goals to give Edward Little a 1-0 lead. Camden Hills quickly evened the score, and by halftime built a 4-2 lead. The Windjammers added five more goals in the second half.
Britta Denny led the charge with four goals, while Leah Snyder finished with three. Brenna Mackey also scored, as did goalie Maddy Tohanczyn on a penalty kick. Tohanczyn also made five saves.
Edward Little goalie Izzy Jalbert stopped nine shots.
Camden Hills also won the JV game between the two schools, 3-0.
