Cougars (4-4) pitcher Grace Robbins earned the win, doubled, tripled, drove in two runs and scored two in the victory over the Cobras in Dixfield.
Robbins tossed a complete game, striking out eight and allowing five hits while not walking any batters in seven innings.
Five of Dirigo’s hits went for extra bases. Along with Robbins, Alyvia Perrault and Kallie Errington also tripled, and Abby Stevens tripled. The Cougars broke a 3-3 tie with two runs in the fifth inning.
