Maya Gayle hit two free throws in the final second of regulation, and Deering (4-14) went 9 of 10 from the free-throw line in overtime to rally past the Red Storm (8-10) at Scarborough.
Gayle finished with 16 points, Nyabhana Lia had 13 and Shay Rosenthal 10 for the Rams.
Caroline Hartley totaled 29 points for Scarborough.
