The Red Eddies (4-3) pulled past the Broncos (1-6) through a pair of fourth-period goals in Hampden.
The contest was tied 1-1 heading into the final quarter. Leah Thibodeau set up Kassidy Lobb for the go-ahead goal with 10 minutes remaining, then Helena Moon added a goal for Edward Little with 1:49 left.
Thibodeau scored the game’s first goal with 4:03 to play in the first quarter. The Red Eddies continued to fire shots on Hampden goalie Jada Bilodeau, but they didn’t get any more past her until the fourth. Bilodeau finished with 20 saves.
Anna Napolillo tied the game at 1-1 with a Broncos goal with two minutes left in the third quarter.
