The Edward Little boys hockey team earned the 800th win of head coach Norm Gagne’s career with a 5-3 victory over South Portland/Freeport/Waynflete on Thursday at Troubh Arena.
Caleb Albert and Campbell Cassidy each scored a goal in both the first and second periods for the Red Eddies, who improve to 10-2 with the victory. Tate Morse finished the Red Eddies’ scoring with a third-period goal.
Hewitt Sykes scored in the second period for the Red Riots (5-7), cutting Edward Little’s lead to 3-1. Tobey Lappin added a pair of goals in the third.
