Indi Backman ran 80 yards for the go-ahead touchdown in the second quarter and lineman Will Gale rumbled into the end zone after an interception early in the fourth as the Navigators (4-2) defeated the Witches (1-5) at Brewer.

After Brewer took a 7-0 lead midway through the first quarter, Falmouth pulled within 7-6 two minutes later when Lucas Dilworth hauled in a 40-yard pass from Finn Caxton-Smith. Backman’s run put the Navigators ahead 12-7 at the half.

Falmouth scored three touchdowns in the fourth quarter.
