Nick Laughlin broke a second-half tie, and the Capers (5-0) edged the Navigators (3-1) in a rematch of last year’s Class A state final.

The two-time defending champion Capers got goals from seven players, led by Bobby Offit and Alex van Huystee with two apiece. Michael Foley stopped eight shots.

The Navigators were paced by three goals from Gio Guerrette. Cyrus Boothby added a pair, and Drew Noyes made 11 saves.
