Sophia Morin, a 5-foot-6 center, scored a career-high 17 points, including a layup with two minutes left, as the Dragons (13-0) survived a comeback by Gorham (13-3) at Brunswick.
Morin, a junior, added six rebounds for Brunswick, which led 36-21 through three quarters before Gorham surged to take the lead. After Morin’s layup, the Dragons didn’t lose the lead again.
Logan Brown added 12 points for Brunswick. Leah Woodbury and Anna Nelson scored 13 each for the Rams.
