Brady Isabelle turned a short pass into a tying 69-yard touchdown late in the third quarter, and Michael Sbrizza connected with Sam Therrien for a go-ahead 11-yard TD pass as Marshwood rallied for a 35-21 win over Gorham in a Class B South football game Friday in South Berwick.

Gorham (1-2) dominated the first half and led 21-7 at halftime, but two big pass plays from Sbrizza to Isabelle helped turn the momentum. A 46-yard reception by Isabelle set up Cole Goodwin second touchdown run of the game, cutting the deficit to 21-14. On Marshwood’s next drive, Isabelle caught a pass along the sideline and avoided going out of bounds as he broke away from several defenders.

After Marshwood took the lead on Therrien’s touchdown catch in the fourth quarter, Gregory Castoras added a 12-yard scoring run.

Gorham quarterback Garrett Poulin threw two touchdown passes and ran for a score in the first half.

The Rams opened the scoring with a 35-yard pass from Poulin to Atticus Whitten. Goodwin tied it early in the second as Goodwin scored on a 7-yard run, but Poulin quickly answered with an 11-yard scoring run, then hit Wyatt Washburn for a 47-yard TD.
