Alyssa Prosser and Kylee Spugnardi each recorded three goals and an assist as the Red Hornets (1-2) picked up their first win of the season with a shutout of the Rangers (0-5) in Auburn.

Prosser, Ella Labelle and Spugnardi all scored in the first period for Edward Little/Leavitt/Poland, then Prosser and Spugnardi scored 39 seconds apart in the second period to make it a 5-0 game. Gianna Castagna also scored in the middle frame, to go along with her assist of Labelle’s goal earlier in the game.

Spugnardi completed her hat trick 20 seconds into the third period, and Prosser did the same with seven minutes left.

Emily Quinell earned the shutout in goal for the Red Hornets, while Maddie Singer manned the net for Greely/Gray-New Gloucester.
