MT. ABRAM 7, HALL-DALE 2: The Roadrunners (10-2) used a three-run fifth inning to pull away and overpower the Bulldogs (7-6) in Salem.
Mt. Abram’s Ian Allen’s jump-started the offense when he singled and brought in a run in the second inning.
Singles by Allen, Trevor Phelps and Tucker Plouffee helped bring these three runs across in the fifth inning. Phelps was the winning pitcher, striking out six and giving up one hit. Adam Luce pitched three innings of relief for the Roadrunners.
