Isaac Parker went the distance in the Phoenix’s (11-5) win over the Bulldogs (7-8) in Jay.
He struck out eight and allowed one run, two hits and two walks. He also had a single at the plate. Eli Moffett produced the eventual game-winning RBI single in the bottom of the sixth. Spruce Mountain took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first.
Ben Nathan had a sac fly in the top of the sixth for Hall-Dale to tie the game at 1-1. Max Byron had a single and a double.
