The Cougars (6-1) pulled away from the Broncos (1-7) with four second-quarter goals in Farmington.

Kali Judkins put Mt. Blue up 1-0 in the first period. The lead ballooned to 5-0 via goals from Bree Griffin, Morgan Hersey and two in a row by Alyssa Parker. Judkins and Griffin assisted on Parker’s goals.

Lily Huntley added a goal in the fourth. Cougars goalie Gwen Lesperance finished with five saves.

Hampden’s Jada Bilodeau made 23 saves.
