Nola Boutaugh hit three doubles to help the Hornets (3-3) dispatch the Cougars (0-4) in five innings in Farmington.
Abby Albert hit two singles and a double for Leavitt and Lily Chabot smacked two singles. Hailey Turcotte added a triple, while Logan Arsenault and Emily Poland each had a double.
Leavitt jumped out to a 9-2 lead after two innings, scoring three in the top of first and six in the second.
K.K Daggett had a triple and a single for Mt. Blue, while Katie Yeaton also had two hits.
