Noah Carpenter accounted for four touchdowns in the Hornets’ (3-0) victory over the Wildcats (1-2) in York.
He scored on runs of 2, 16, and 20 yards and threw a 29-yard TD pass to Aiden Turcotte. Carpenter finished with 75 yards rushing on six carries and completed 6 of 11 passes for 127 yards — all in the first half, after which the Hornets led 49-13.
Maddox Demers ran in for three scores — from 12 yards, 14 yards, 28 yards out — for Leavitt. Brandon Bilodeau and Riley Meisner also had touchdown runs. Jace Negley recorded three sacks and Mason Twitchell had an interception for Leavitt.
York’s Ben Brown caught a 8-yard touchdown from Peter Martin. Brown also recovered a fumble on a kick return and returned it for a 35-yard touchdown.
