Lewiston (10-4) grabbed a 29-26 halftime and held off the Stags (6-5) in Portland.
Eli Bigelow and David Omasombo each had 12 points, and Caed Langley and Yusuf Dakane scored 10 apiece for the Blue Devils.
Seth Huntington scored 20 points for Cheverus, including five 3-pointers.
