NAPLES — Phoebe Payne’s 21 digs were key in Lake Region’s 3-0 volleyball victory over Lewiston on Thursday.

Corrie Turentine and Sabrina Lopez each had six kills for the Lakers (1-2), who swept the sets 25-13, 25-11, 25-17.

For the Blue Devils (0-2), Sage Cormier had three aces and one kill, Isabel Tillier-Munoz had a kill and an assist and Abi Beaucage added two kills.

Lake Region also won the JV matchup, sweeping a pair of sets 25-6, 25-13.
