OXFORD HILLS 7, LEWISTON 6

Gigi DeVivo drove in Liz Dieterich with two outs in the bottom of the seventh to lift the Vikings (5-0) past the Blue Devils (1-3) in Paris.

Lewiston pitcher Brooklyn Mynahan was nearly able to get out of the bases-loaded, no-out jam in the seventh after inducing a double-play lineout, but the freshman DeVivo was able to reach on her grounder to the left side of the infield to win the game.

Mynahan was one of three Lewiston batters, along with catcher Morgan Brown and Isabella Miller, to record two singles. The Blue Devils outhit the Vikings 10-7.

Miah Gallan and Tristen Derenburger had two hits apiece for Oxford Hills, with Derenburger’s second single of the game loading the bases in the seventh. Maddy Miller struck out four batters and earned the win in the circle for the Vikings.
