A trio of players finished in double figures, but Nick Morin’s five blocks in the fourth were also key for the Hornets (1-0) in the KVAC win over the Eagles (0-1) in Turner.
Ben Sirois scored a game-high 18 points and Sawyer Hathaway had 16 for Leavitt. Brett Coburn put in nine of his 14 points in the fourth, and he also added 15 rebounds and five blocks.
Gabe Hagar led Lincoln with 14 points, while Tucker Stiles added 12. Their marksmanship helped the Eagles cut the deficit to one in the third quarter, but the Leavitt ended the game with a 16-0 fourth quarter.
