Roan Hopkins capped a comeback from a two-goal deficit when he scored with 12 seconds remaining, lifting South Portland/Freeport/Waynflete (7-8) to a win over Marshwood/Traip/Sanford/Noble (8-5) at Troubh Ice Arena.

Marshwood led 2-0 after one period on goals by Chase Turcotte and Bradley Wentworth. Richard Gilboy’s power-play goal with 20 seconds left in the second period started South Portland’s comeback, and Liam Anderson tied it in the third.

South Portland goalie Jasper Curtis made 27 saves. Ben Ott stopped 24 shots for the Knighthawks.
