Sydney Duncan scored two goals and set up another as the Mustangs (3-1) defeated Portland/Deering in Portland.
The Mustangs led 2-0 after one quarter, thanks to unassisted goals by Duncan and Paige Stephenson.
Portland/Deering cut into the deficit in the second quarter when Gabbie Harrigan tipped in Ainsley Dunn’s centering pass. But Eliza Rogers restored the two-goal lead later in the second quarter, and Duncan got her second goal in the third.
Portland/Deering goalie Emma Walsh finished with 27 saves.
