The Cougars poured in five goals in the second quarter to pull away from the Falcons at Harlow Park in Dixfield.

Jayce Brophy scored all three of her goals in the frame, and Lana Waite and Grace Robbins also found the back of the cage in the quarter. Emily Woods opened the scoring in the first quarter off an assist from Kara Woods. Emily Woods had two assists, and Sylvia Hodsdon and Grace Averill also recorded helpers.

Alivia Ellis made three saves to earn the shutout for Dirigo, while Brooke Brown stopped 11 shots in goal for Mountain Valley.
