Kaden Paaso ran for three touchdowns in the Falcons’ (3-0) road win over the Black Bears (2-1) in Readfield to become the only undefeated team left standing in 8-man Small School South.
Paaso ran in from seven yards out, then followed with the two-point conversion, to give Mountain Valley an 8-0 lead after one quarter. Robert Leveillee and Lucas Libby had second-quarter touchdown runs, with Jyrrmal Yates and Paaso, respectively, running in the two-point conversions.
Paaso completed the scoring in the third quarter with touchdown runs of 45 and six yards.
