Seneca Jones hit a pair of 3-pointers after regulation, and the Falcons (8-6) beat the Mustangs (9-3) in double overtime in Monmouth to earn another big win in another close game.
Jones finished with three 3s and 11 points. Jake New helped secure the win with three free throws in the second overtime. Zach New led Mountain Valley with 19 points, while Brayden Duguay added 10.
The Falcons dealt Spruce Mountain its second loss of the season, 39-36, on Tuesday. They also beat Lisbon 46-42 on Saturday and last Thursday fell to Mt. Abram in overtime 62-60.
Sammy Calder scored a team-high 17 points for Monmouth. Hunter Frost contributed 14 points, and Alex Orne hit three treys and scored 11 points.
