The Cougars pulled away in the second half to down the Eagles in South China.

Mt. Blue outscored Erskine 7-4 after the teams went into halftime tied 5-5.

Chloe Roberts paced the Cougars with four goals and a pair of assists. Talia Kidder added two goals and an assist, and Emma Dunn and Alissa Butterfield each scored twice. Callahan Towle and Lily Huntley (two assists) also scored.

Bree Griffin, Maya Kellett and Meren Zeliger each contributed an assist. Mt. Blue goalie Maddie Keller stopped eight shots.

Erskine’s Belle Pelotte tallied a game-high five goals. Shannon McDonough scored two, and Brooke Blais and Izzy Boudreau each had one. Abbie McDonough and Caleigh Crocker assisted on a goal apiece, and Eagles goalie Emma Henderson made 20 saves.
