Ainsley Berry and Katie Sirois scored the goals for the Hornets (11-3) in a win over the Warriors (11-2-1) in a key KVAC regular-season finale in Turner.
Berry opened the scoring midway through the first quarter. That 1-0 score stuck until the fourth, when both teams found the back of the cage. Katie Sirois scored Leavitt’s second goal when she tipped in a hit from Addie Twitchell.
Madeleine Roundy put Nokomis on the board in the final frame.
Emily Poland made six saves in the win for the Hornets, while Eliya Drummond tallied nine for the Warriors.
