Eva Stevens scored 14 points and Hannah Wilbur added 11 as the Cougars (1-4) earned their first victory of the season by defeating the Warriors (0-4) in Farmington.
Mt. Blue took control early, and by halftime held a 27-12 lead. Kara Daggett and Katelyn Daggett each contributed eight points to the win.
Nokomis’ Bri Townsend threw in a game-high 24 points and went 7-for-10 from the free-throw line.
