OXFORD HILLS 17, LEWISTON 6, 5 INNINGS
Kaydence Morse’s three-run homer run highlighted a six-hit, eight-run first inning that propelled the Vikings (12-2) to a five-inning victory over the Blue Devils (3-10) in Lewiston.
Bella DeVivo also homered for Oxford Hills, and Gigi DeVivo had a triple. Maddy Miler pitched 4 2/3 innings to earn the win.
The Vikings, who finished with 17 hits, added one run in the second, six in the fourth and two in the fifth.
Lewiston answered Oxford Hills’ big first with three runs in the bottom half of the inning, including a two-run homer by Charlotte Cloutier. Sage Cormier added a two-run double in the fifth for the Blue Devils.
