ST. DOM’S 12, SACOPEE VALLEY 5: The Saints0′ (12-1) offense opened up on the Hawks (8-4) and pave the way fora a big victory over the Hawks in Hiram. on Monday.

Saint Dominic Academy opened up scoring in the first inning, when Emily Andrews singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

St. Dom;’s produced five runs in the third inning. The onslaught was led by Kassidy Cote, Andrews, Kathleen Dean, Bella Perryman and Cami Casserly, who each had RBIs in the inning.

Dean toed the rubber for Saint Dominic Academy. The righthander struck out eight batters and allowed eight hits and five runs over seven innings.

Elyse Guptill was in the circle for Sacopee Valley. The hurler allowed eight hits and t1 runs over two innings. Abby Sanborn threw four innings in relief.

The Saints had 11 hits. Casserly, Andrews, and Sidney Dick each racked up multiple hits for St. Dom’s  Andrews and Casserly each collected three hits for the Saints.
