Delia Gosselin scored the go-ahead goal late in the first half as Oak Hill opened the girls soccer season with a 2-1 win over Spruce Mountain on Thursday.
Adalia Scarborough opened the scoring to put the Phoenix up 1-0. An own goal with nine minutes to play in the first half even the score, and then Gosselin netted the tiebreaker four minutes before halftime.
Raiders goalie MacKenzie Vatasso made eight saves, while Spruce Mountain’s Tyoaka Hodgkin stopped six shots.
