Seneca Jones took a no-hitter into the sixth inning, then the Falcons (2-8) held off the Rebels (1-10) in Rumford.
Mountain Valley plated three runs in the third inning then added a couple more in the sixth on a two-run double by Rilan Farnum.
Those two runs provided much-needed insurance, as Telstar plated three runs in the top of the seventh inning before Falcons reliever Tanner Henry shut down the Rebels’ rally.
Telstar’s Anthony Conant broke up Jones’ no-hitter with a single in the sixth.
