David Knowlton pitched a four-hitter with six strikeouts in Game 1, then hit a walk-off single in Game 2 as the Mustangs (2-2) beat the Rangers (0-5) twice in Thorndike, 7-0 and 5-4.
Nick Hurd had a triple and two RBI for Mt. View in the opener and was the winning pitcher in the second game, recording nine strikeouts.
Matt Ford had a two-run double for Traip in Game 2.
