Will Doyle found the end zone several times through the air and Gavinn Martin had multiple touchdown runs in the Rebels’ (1-1) win over the Rangers (0-2) in Bethel.

Doyle connected with Cameron Palmer multiple times for touchdowns and also found Wyatt Lilly and Anthony Conant for scoring passes. Telstar led 40-0 after one quarter in what head coach Tim O’Connor called a “bounce-back game” for the Rebels after a lopsided season-opening loss to Mountain Valley.

O’Connor noted that Traip Academy was plagued by multiple turnovers and Telstar’s kicks were able to pin the Rangers back deep in their own territory.
