Kaden Paaso scored five touchdowns as the Falcons (3-4) pulled away by outscoring the Purple Panthers (2-5) 54-0 over the final three quarters to win an 8-man Large North matchup in Rumford.

Paaso ran for two touchdowns in the first quarter and ran for two more and also scored on a 62-yard punt return in the second quarter. Seneca Jones added two rushing touchdowns of his own in the period to help put Mountain Valley up 48-8 at halftime.

Chance Watson had long touchdown runs (73 and 56 yards, respectively) in the third and fourth quarters, and Nicolas Curtis rounded out the scoring with a 53-yard fumble return for a touchdown.

Paaso finished with 16 carries for 188 yards, leaving him 38 yards shy of 1,000 for the season. On defense, he accrued seven tackles, a forced fumble and an interception. Jones also picked off a pass.
