BASEBALL
- BUCKFIELD 18, CARRABEC 6: The Bucks walked 18 times en route to an East/West Conference win over the Cobras in North Anson.
Gabe White had a home run and four RBI for Buckfield (4-4), which scored 18 runs on just six hits. Krosby Harvey had a triple, a single and two RBI.
Noah Lightbody had two hits for Carrabec (2-5).
- FALMOUTH 1, NOBLE 0: Tyler Simmonds hit an RBI single in the top of the third inning and the Navigators (4-4) held on to beat the Knights (5-4) in North Berwick.
Simmonds went 3 for 4 for Falmouth. Ben Robbins added two hits. Thomas Healey earned the win, allowing four hits in 4 2/3 innings. He struck out three and walked two.
Wesley Turnbull pitched six innings for Noble, allowing a run on five hits, while striking out four and walking six.
- GREELY 7, FREEPORT 0: Sylas Almy pitched a complete game shutout and the Rangers (9-2) beat the Falcons (3-7) in Freeport.
Almy allowed two hits, struck out 12 and walked two. Owen Piesik and Kyle Soule each had two hits.
Jacob Cass and Liam Emmons had hits for the Falcons.
- SCARBOROUGH 3, GORHAM 0: Erik Swenson pitched a perfect game in a matchup of aces against Wyatt Nadeau to lift Scarborough to a 3-0 win over Gorham in a Class A baseball game on Saturday in Scarborough.
Swenson has a no-hitter a combined perfect game and a perfect game in his last three starts. He no-hit Falmouth on May 5, then combined with Ryan Shugars for a perfect game against Cheverus on Tuesday.
Against Gorham, the University of Maine bound pitcher, threw 75 pitches and struck out nine.
Gorham ace Wyatt Nadeau, who has committed to pitch at Div. I baseball power Vanderbilt, allowed three hits, two runs and two runs (one earned) in five innings.
Kam Duggan had two hits, including a double for Scarborough.
- SOUTH PORTLAND 10, WINDHAM 0: Hudson Iacuessa had two hits, including a double, drove in two runs and scored twice as the Red Riots (7-1) rolled to a five-inning win over the Eagles (0-9) in South Portland.
Jude Charltray and Cam Barrett also had two hits for South Portland.
Alex Pastore, Cayden McCartney and Cam Davis each had a hit for WIndham.
- THORNTON ACADEMY 13, WESTBROOK 2: Noah Fullerton was 2 for 2 with a double, two RBI and three runs scored as the Trojans (8-0) cruised past the Blue Blazes (1-7) in Westbrook.
Jacob Fish added a double, two RBI and two runs scored, while Brennan Tabor had a triple, scored twice and drove in two.
SOFTBALL
- BANGOR 5, EDWARD LITTLE 4: Sophie Lynch had three hits, scored twice and drove in a run as the Rams (7-2) beat the Eddies (5-4) in Auburn.
Abby Folsom added two hits, including a triple and scored a run, while Eva Coombs had two hits, including a double and an RBI for Bangor.
Edward Little scored four times in the bottom of the seventh, but couldn’t complete the comeback. Kylee Lebrun had two hits, a run scored and an RBI, while Emily Poulin and Allie Michaud each had a double.
- BUCKFIELD 13, CARRABEC 2: Seven players had two hits and the Bucks earned a mercy-rule win over the Cobras in North Anson.
Carmen Crockett homered and doubled for Buckfield (6-1). She also struck out 10. Brittany Carrier, Chloee Bennett, Cora Brewster, Amelia Hill, Emma Hooper and Taylor Harvey also hit two hits each.
Aiyana Tibbetts tripled and singled for Carrabec (6-1).
- POLAND 14, SACOPEE VALLEY 2: Phoebe Paradis was 2 for 3 with a home run, four runs scored and an RBI and the Knights (3-7) beat the Hawks (0-9) in Poland.
Olivia Rioux added two hits, including a double, scored twice and drove in a run for Poland. Lexi Langevin and Brenna Galipeau-Eldridge each added two hits.
Brianna Eastman had the lone hit for Sacopee Valley.
- SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 9, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 4: Santika Hodgkin had a double and drove in three runs to lift the Phoenix (4-4) past the Falcons (9-2) in Jay.
Tyoaka Hodgkin added two hits, including a double for Spruce Mountain. Rylee Turner piched a complete game, allowing one earned run on six hits, while striking out eight and walking one.
Hayden Chase had three hits for Mountain Valley.
- ST. DOMINIC 13, MCI 3: Maddie Andrews had three doubles, scored four times, drove in a run and earned the win as the Saints (6-3) beat the Huskies (4-3) in a game shortened to five innings in Auburn.
Emily Andrews added three hits for St. Dominic.
Jyllian Riendeau and Bailey Churchill each had two hits for MCI.
BOYS LACROSSE
- NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 10, OAK HILL/MONMOUTH/LISBON/ST. DOMINIC 7: Kaiden Delano finished with five goals while Matt Fecteau and Nate Dillman added two goals each to lead the Panthers (6-2) over Oak Hill/Monmouth/Lisbon/St. Dominic (4-3) at North Yarmouth.
Gavin Thomas paced Oak Hill/Monmouth/Lisbon/St. Dominic with five goals while Max Siebert added two goals and Deagan Nadeau chipped in a goal and two assists.
GIRLS LACROSSE
- CONY 17, HOULTON/HODGDON/GREATER HOULTON CHRISTIAN/SOUTHERN AROOSTOOK/CENTRAL AROOSTOOK 4: Casey Monson had four goals and two assists, while Gabby Vachon had four goals and one assist to lift the Rams (7-2) past the Houlton co-op (3-6) in Houlton.
Katelyn Dutil added four goals, Rhya Turner had two, and Paige Logan and Ryiln Miller had a goal and an assist for the Rams. Kennedy Fyre also scored.
Reagan Wright scored twice, while Rylee Cunningham and Morgan Quirk each added a goal for the Houlton co-op.
- GREELY 16, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 1: Kylie Lord scored six goals, Abby Collins had four goals and the Rangers (5-4) handled the Raiders (4-4) in Fryeburg.
Hadley Hatch added two goals, and Tess Waterhouse, Grace Tyll, Kacie Lord and Kelsey Crocker also scored for Greely.
Vivian Waldie scored for Fryeburg.
- KENNEBUNK 19, BIDDEFORD 2: Anna McCarron scored five goals and the Rams (8-0) cruised to a win over Tigers (4-4) in Kennebunk.
Camdyn Keenan added three goals and two assists for Kennebunk. Helen Kennie, Julianna Urban and Ceclia DiGiovani each added three goals, while Madeline Dowling and Sofia Olson each had one.
Abby Boufford scored twice for Biddeford.
- WESTBROOK 11, DEERING 8: Lyla Dunphe and Kylie Young both scored five times as the Blue Blazes (4-5) beat the Rams (1-7) in Westbrook.
Josie Corriveau added a goal for Westbrook.
