Macey Brown scored 17 points, Maya Brown added 10 and the fourth-seeded Mariners (14-5) defeated the fifth-seeded Cougars (9-10) in a Class D North quarterfinal.
Rylee Door added eight points for the Mariners, who steadily pulled away, holding Katahdin to 11 points through three quarters.
Mackenze Landry led Katahdin with 10 points.
