Alice Ferran and Celia Bergdahl both scored three goals and the Black Bears rolled to a season-opening win over the Eagles in Newcastle.

Cooper Davis added two goals and four assists, Stella Stewart had two goals and two assists, and Mya St. Pierre had two goals and an assists for Maranacook. Alex Stewart (goal, two assists), Megan Parker, Regan Dwelley, Kayla Dubois and Emily Payne also scored.
