Maddy Poitras and Tiegan Boisvert combined for 12 goals and three assists, leading the Hawks (2-1) past the Red Riots (1-3) in South Berwick.
Poitras finished with seven goals and an assist, while Boisvert tallied five goals and two assists.
Olivia Inosencio netted four goals for South Portland, which got 18 saves from Amelia Burton-Fowler.
