The Ramblers (10-8) were chasing the Purple Panthers (2-16) much of the game but finally pulled ahead in the fourth quarter to win the regular-season finale in Winthrop.
Cole Bard led Winthrop with 15 points. Chan Ring added 10 points and Jake Galusha nine.
Derek Couture hit three 3-pointers and scored a game-high 18 points for Waterville. Cade Rogers scored 10 points.
