Junior forward Emily Olivia Pye drained 20 points to lead Rangeley to a 61-17 victory over Pine Tree Academy in girls’ basketball action Wednesday evening.
The Lakers (8-1) picked up the tempo in the second quarter and didn’t let down until the final buzzer. Freshman forward Winnie LaRochelle contributed 16 points on six field goals, four free throws and eight rebounds for Rangeley.
Senior forward Emily Schlisner was the leading scorer with six points for the Breakers (2-2) in the losing effort.
