Jared Conant hit a solo home run in the bottom of the first and the host Clippers (10-6) added four runs in the third, paced by a run-scoring single from Matt Gautreau, in beating the Capers (9-7).
Matt Waldner went 2 for 2 for Yarmouth, including an RBI single in the sixth.
Charlie Song had three hits, including a double, for Cape Elizabeth.
