The Cougars (3-2) trailed 5-3 entering the final inning then plated nine runs in the top of the seventh to take down the Roadrunners (0-5) in Salem.
Layla Merrill doubled and hit two singles to lead Dirigo. Alyssa Ellis singled and doubled, Grace Robbins and Hannah Hamner tallied two singles apiece, and Alyvia Perrault, Kallie Errington and Abby Stevens each had hit for Dirigo. Robbins was the winning pitcher and finished with five strikeouts.
Adrianna Stinchfield hammered out three singles, while Savannah Davis and Aiyana Savage each singled and doubled for Mt. Abram. Stinchfield also struck out 12 Dirigo batters.
