Ben Gill pitched a four-hitter with five strikeouts and one walk, and Spartans (4-2) scored two in the bottom of the sixth inning to beat the visiting Rams (3-4) in Sanford.
Gill and Tyler Sevigny scored for the Sanford.
Miles Brenner pitched a two-hitter for Gorham. Thomas Curtis had an RBI, Casey Skolfield had two hits and Caden Smith scored the run for the Rams.
