The Cobras scored one run in the fourth inning and another in the fifth to take Game 1 from the Cavaliers in Bingham.
Jillian Richardson pitched a complete-game shutout for Carrabec. It was the third straight win for the Cobras after an 0-2 start to the season.
Madeline Hill took the loss for Valley.
