Hailey Cyr’s all-around effort help the Hornets win their fourth consecutive game by defeating the Eagles (3-9) in China.
In the circle, Cyr struck out nine batters in five innings. She aided Leavitt’s offense with a triple and a double. The Hornets (10-2) plated four runs in the second inning, one in the fourth and another in the sixth.
Haley Turcotte doubled and matched Cyr’s game-high two hits. Jordan Boulay also smacked a double.
