Camden Phillips opened the scoring with a 2-yard run in the first quarter and then hooked up twice with Elie Timler for touchdown passes in the second quarter as the No. 3 Phoenix (6-2) beat the sixth-seeded Clippers (1-7) in an eight-man Large School South quarterfinal at Jay.
Jackson Delfini had a pair of rushing touchdowns in the second quarter for Yarmouth, which trailed 24-12 at halftime.
Reece Davis returned the second-half kickoff 80 yards for a score, then added two long TD runs – 54 and 85 yards.
