Sadie Armstrong tossed a two-hitter with seven strikeouts, and hit two doubles, as the sixth-seeded Bulldogs (12-5) downed the #11th-seeded Scots (5-12) in a Class A South first round game in Portland.
Hannah Hawkes had three hits with 3 RBI, Ruby Chase added two hits and with two runs scored, and Ainsley McCrum scored twice for Portland.
