Maren Maxon scored five of her 11 points in the closing minutes to help lift Wells (2-0) to a 38-37 win at home against Biddeford (0-2).
Payton Fazzina also scored 11 points for the Warriors. Megyn Mertens grabbed 12 rebounds, including nine at the offensive end.
Biddeford was paced by Hannah Smith with 14 points and Ayla Lagasse with 10.
