MT. ABRAM 4, BUCKFIELD 1

Adrianna Stinchfield struck out 10 batters and the Roadrunners’ (2-6) offense produced enough to take down the the Bucks (2-7) in Salem.

Buckfield scored in the top of the first inning then was held scoreless by Stinchfield for the next six innings. The Roadrunners scored one run in third, one in the fourth and two in the fifth.

Kaydence Dunn led Mt. Abram’s offense with two singles, and Liv Roderick, Savannah Davis and Aiyanna Savage each had one.

Stinchfield out-dueled Buckfield’s Emma Stevens-Belanger, who struck out eight in six innings. She also had a double. Cora Brewster tallied a team-high two hits, while Cori Merrill and Addison Stevens-Belanger had one apiece.
